Fernando Gómez-Baquero

Dr. Gómez-Baquero is the Director of Runway and Spinouts at the Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute at Cornell Tech, where he helps launch cutting-edge tech startups from research labs into the real world. He holds a Ph.D. in Nanoscale Science and Engineering, with a focus on advanced nanomaterials, energy storage, and the economic impact of emerging technologies.

In addition to his leadership at Cornell Tech, he is also a visiting lecturer at Cornell’s SC Johnson College of Business, blending scientific depth with entrepreneurial insight.
